💡 What’s Changing

After giving it a lot of thought, I’ve decided to simplify things moving forward. I will no longer continue the Novel Collection system.

For readers who have already purchased Did You Steal My Mage Tower? (DYSMT) under the old system, please don’t worry because I will continue updating the Google Drive folder and fully honor all previously promised benefits.

Going forward, I’ve introduced a new support option called Galactic Archive.
This is an all-access support membership that allows readers to read all currently available advance stockpile chapters across my ongoing and completed projects in one place. The total number of chapters may vary depending on my progress, but it will always include at least 20 equivalent advance chapters, matching the Nebula Rebirth tier—and often more when stockpiles are large.

📝 Chapter Count

Advance access is calculated using equivalent chapters, based on the original Chinese word count:

Chapters with fewer than 5,000 Chinese words are counted as 1 chapter

Chapters with more than 5,000 Chinese words are counted as 2 chapters

Chapters of around 9,000 Chinese words are counted as 3 chapters

This system helps keep things fair and transparent across different novels and chapter lengths.

Hello, everyone!

I wanted to give you a quick look at what’s been going on behind the scenes at StarCafe, and explain why I’ve recently launched the membership and collection system on Ko-fi and Patreon.

When I first created the website, I hoped that ads would help cover hosting costs and the initial setup. Unfortunately, after six months, ad revenue has only brought in about $8 — and with a $100 minimum payout threshold, it’s clear that ads alone can’t sustain the site or the translation process. 

Because of this, I decided to open memberships and collection options, not only to help cover ongoing hosting and editing costs, but also so I can eventually give back to the original author and novel on JJWXC once I have enough to donate.

This is also a way to keep myself motivated, knowing that there are readers actively supporting my work. In return, I’ll be committing to a stricter and more consistent update schedule, which I’ll post and maintain on both Ko-fi and Patreon.

For Guide to Having Multiple Aliases in a Literary Cosmic World, I’ve only just begun translating it, so it isn’t stocked in the membership tiers yet. I’ll do my best to build up its advance chapters throughout January, but I can’t make any hard promises just yet.
